Yesterday 1934 First manufacture of ALESA cutting tools. 1946 ALESA GOLD is born and registered as international trade mark for high quality cutting tools. 1958 Milling heads with exchangeable edges in HSS and carbide, in advance to the indexable insert technology. 1980 ALESA achieves pioneering by tempering of HSS with vacuum-systems. 1985 World-wide first programme of inserts in HSS-ES TiN, highly positive cutting geometry. Today In the mid-90's the patent-registered helical inserts ALESA TWIST were launched. Subsequently new developments followed, such as: carbide circular saws, new type of shell end mills and the Nutex-/Nutex Plus system. Since 2006 the 4th generation of the owner family is running the business. The entire ALESA crew is proud to assert its position as one of the few independent family companies in the trade. The company - located in Switzerland - counts approximately 70 motivated, well-trained and mostly long-standing employees. Additional 60 trading partners establish global connections.
